Congratulations! You have accomplished an amazing goal of becoming a Mental Health Counselor or Marriage and Family Therapy Counselor.  Are you ready to take your next step on your journey to licensing?

At Peacful Mind Therapy of Florida, Jane knows how important choosing a supervisor is. She provides Individual and Group Supervision to meet all your developmental needs.  Jane says "I take pride in providing our interns a comfortable, supportive environment to help achieve professional confidence". 

 

Cost is $85/supervision session

Guidance is provided in:

• Case consultation

• Legal and ethical practice

• Paperwork, forms, assessments, notes & treatment plans

• Continuing education support and advice

• Licensure exam preparation

• Self-care practices

• Group supervision as available

• Private practice building

Additionally, Interns are offered office space (when available) for rent at $50/day.  As a registered intern with the state of Florida you will be considered for referrals at no cost from Peaceful Mind Therapy.  However, you are expected to acquire your own clients. 

​

As an intern in the state of Florida you are required to complete 1500 client contact hours under the supervision of a Qualified Supervisor in no less than 100 weeks.  You must have at least 1 hour of supervision every 2 weeks and at least 50% of your supervision must be individual or group supervision. Group supervision can be a maximum of 6 interns. Registered Interns must complete the licensure process within 5 years of registering.
